The 60th Anniversary of Rock N Roll will be celebrated the Fourth of July Weekend on Delta College's Q-90.1 radio as two local broadcasting veterans produce and host radio specials highlighting a music revolution that exploded in the mid-fifties.

Delta College Q-TV is currently seeking interesting family histories, photographs, letters or other documents for their new local history documentary, whose working title is "SETTLING IN – Cultures & Immigrants That Built Mid-Michigan." A late fall 2014 premiere is targeted.

Delta College Q-TV recently submitted local Korean War Veterans video interviews to the Veterans History Project (VHP) of the Library of Congress American Folklife Center. The Veterans History Project collects, preserves, and makes accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war.

Delta College’s Q-TV is pleased to announce the re-broadcasting of four award winning, locally produced documentaries during their May Fest pledge drive. This is the first time Q-TV is showing all of its latest local documentaries during one pledge drive.

At the Michigan Association of Broadcasters 2013 awards ceremony recently held in Lansing, Delta College’s Q-TV received a Broadcast Excellence Award for its locally produced documentary, THE KOREAN WAR – Voices from the 38th Parallel.

Delta College Public Broadcasting’s Q-TV will premiere its new local documentary, The Korean War: Voices from the 38th Parallel, on Saturday, September 8 at 8:00 pm. The program will be repeated on Thursday, September 13 at 8:00 pm.

Bay City's internationally acclaimed jazz guitarist, Patrick Yandall, will be among the program highlights in Delta College's Holiday Festival which runs Saturday, November 26th through Sunday, December 11th. The programming festival is a mix of locally produced specials, concerts and informational programs.

Military veterans of the Great Lakes Bay Region will be celebrated by Delta College’s Q-TV on Friday, November 11 at 8pm. The live broadcast from the studios of Delta College will feature excerpts from new and existing original Q-TV documentaries including Vanishing Voices of WWII, Margin of Victory, Korea: Voices from the 38th Parallel (in pre-production) and What Free Men Will Do (Dow Chemical Company production).

Flint composer Pat Cronley, who has worked on Delta documentaries since 2005, won Delta College’s first Emmy Award for his original score to Q-TV’s locally produced documentary Restored To Glory.
