Delta Psychology Student wins award
July 23, 2015

Midland resident and Delta College Psychology student, Lyndsay Smokovitz, was awarded first place in the American Psychological Association’s Student Presentation Contest, which recognizes innovative and high quality electronic presentations by community college psychology students. Second and third places were awarded to students in Ohio and California.

Scott Schultz, Professor of Physics, named Director of the STEM Talent Institute

Delta College has appointed Scott Schultz, Professor of Physics, as its Director of the STEM Talent Institute. The new position, funded by the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation of Midland, will be responsible for coordinating the many STEM initiatives currently underway at Delta.
